Located off the Malabar Coast, the beautiful state of Kerala attracts many for a variety of reasons. I came to Kerala as a traveler first and liked the state so much that decided to stay. Working for a livelihood was something I required to think about and so started searching for Kerala jobs. Kerala’s culture is distinctive from other parts of the country and draws hordes of travelers. The locals speak Malayalam, a language associated with Kerala. People also speak in English. Therefore, there are no language issues while searching for jobs in Kerala. 

Working in Kerala has its own advantage. The state enjoys high ranking in India’s Human Development Index. It is also one of the complete literate states. Educated persons can find teaching jobs in Kerala. The towns and villages of Kerala have good number of educational institutes. It is also said to be the first state, which has become e-literate. This is helped in created new jobs in the market. Jobs like writing and designing for websites are easy to get and offers good salary package.  

The tourism sector is Kerala is booming and more and more people come and visit the state. The hospitality industry in Kerala has opened up in job openings. Jobs in Kerala are available with various resorts, hotels and restaurants across the chain. The state is known for its herbal treatments. Ayurvedic treatment centers and resorts have open up in the villages of Kerala. Kerala jobs for therapists, masseur and Ayurveda doctors are very much in demand. The food processing industry of Kerala also has some new jobs for people interested in working here. 

As for me, I am a certified language expert. There is demand of language experts in the tourism sector of the state. I applied for a private company and soon got a job matching my skills.

How to deal with the bad boss at work?


Whether we like it or not, we are ought to work in office and earn salary for our and our family’s growth. In case you do not like the work or not comfortable with the work environment, then you must take a decision. There has to be a valid reason why you are quitting from the job. If you have bad boss at work, then don’t let him become the reason of your resignation, deal with him! Following are few pointers, which would help us to maintain a good behaviour in the office and the same time handle the boss well.
1.      Broaden your thinking: Not everyone is right or wrong all the time. Everything cannot be according to your convenience so, learn to adjust with things. And if you can’t adjust, then ignore it. Not every topic needs your attention or response so, just be quite and be a good receptor of thoughts.
2.      Consult the people you trust: Before taking a decision you should always take a second opinion. You can also be wrong at times, so better take a suggestion before you give your final word.
3.      Always agree with your boss: Always say yes to your boss. Let him take the pride of being at a senior position. You need to be diplomatic sometimes, by which you can be in his good books. Follow his plans and act accordingly.
4.      Don’t be emotional: Be rational! All the matters in life don’t need our emotional attention. So, think practically and try and solve things that way only.

So, by keeping these things in mind you can balance your office life in a better way and add peace to your life.
